Data Controller
The Data Controller is Lorenzo Albanese (VAT no. 00985190941), freelance photographer and videographer, who can be contacted at info@lorenzoalbanese.com or on +39 320 441 9596.
What data we collect
This website collects personal data only when you voluntarily provide it by filling in the contact form on the Contacts page: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), type of service requested, event date (optional) and any message.
Cookies and analytics and marketing tools
This website uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and, only with your prior consent given through the cookie banner, the following third-party tools:
- Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd.): a statistics tool that collects aggregated data about browsing — such as the pages visited, the source of traffic and the duration of the visit — in order to understand how the website is used.
- Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): a marketing tool that measures the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and allows ads to be shown to people who have visited the website.
These tools are activated only after you have given consent through the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time. For details of the cookies used, please see the Cookie Policy.
How your data is processed
The data entered in the contact form is sent by email to info@lorenzoalbanese.com through the mail server of our hosting provider (Netsons) and is not stored in any database on the website. The emails received are kept in the mailbox for the time necessary to respond to the request and manage any professional relationship, unless otherwise required by law.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The data collected through the contact form is used solely to respond to requests for information or quotes and, in the event of an agreement, to carry out the photography or video service requested. The legal basis for processing is the consent of the data subject, given by submitting the form, and, for clients, the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures.
How long we keep your data
- Requests for quotes or information that do not result in an assignment: the emails are kept for the time needed to handle the request and in any case for a maximum of 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Data of clients with whom a professional relationship is established: kept for the entire duration of the relationship and, for tax and accounting documents such as invoices, for the 10 years required by law (art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
- Browsing data collected by Google Analytics: kept according to the tool’s settings, for a maximum of 14 months.
- Data collected by the Meta Pixel: kept according to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.’s policies.
Disclosure and transfer of data
Your data is not sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be shared only with trusted collaborators, for example a second photographer or a videographer, when necessary to provide the service requested, and only to the extent strictly necessary.
This website loads the Playfair Display and Inter fonts directly from Google’s servers, through the Google Fonts service: this involves sending your IP address to Google when the page loads. For more information, please see Google’s privacy policy.
Client photographs and materials
The photographs published in the website portfolio — weddings, events and portraits — are used only with the explicit consent of the people portrayed, obtained separately at the time of the assignment through a written release. If you recognise an image of yourself and would like it removed, please write to info@lorenzoalbanese.com.
Your rights
At any time you may exercise, by contacting the Data Controller at the details above, the rights provided for by articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR): access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), www.garanteprivacy.it.
